Hidden floor tiles are revealed and triggered only if a team member steps on them (that is, if the team leader takes a step towards the tile and is not pushed or thrown to it).

Up to 63 traps can be placed on a floor.

Up to 16 foes can appear on a floor.

Trip Trap

Affected Pokémon drops its held item.

Mud Trap

Reduces affected Pok�nse, E9;mon’s Attack, Special Attack, or Special Defense by 1 stage. Can choose a stat whose stat stage is 0.

Sticky Trap

A random item becomes sticky. (Money can’t be sticky.)

Grimy Trap

Among all non-Seed, non-Berry food items other than Grimy Food (item type 3), there is a 30% chance that the item is replaced with Grimy Food. Items replaced this way are no longer sticky.

Summon Trap

After this tile is triggered, one to four foes appear around the triggering Pokémon. The tile then disappears.

Pitfall Trap

If the team leader triggers this tile, it loses 5 HP and enters the next floor. If a non-team-leader triggers this tile, that Pokémon becomes lost.

Warp Trap

Affected Pokémon warps to a space it can enter.

Gust Trap

Affected Pokémon moves up to ten spaces in a random direction until it hits a space it can’t enter or the edge of the map. If it hits a wall or the edge of the map, it loses 5 HP. No effect if used on boss floors with cliffs.

Spin Trap

Affected Pokémon becomes confused.

Slumber Trap

Affected Pokémon is put to sleep.

Slow Trap

Reduces affected Pokémon’s Movement Speed.

Seal Trap

A random move that the affected Pokémon has, which is not sealed, becomes sealed. (This effect lasts until the affected Pokémon leaves the floor.)

Poison Trap

Affected Pokémon becomes poisoned.

Selfdestruct Trap

Causes an explosion.

Explosion Trap

Causes a huge explosion.

PP-Zero Trap

A random move that the affected Pokémon has, which has at least 1 PP, is reduced to 0. (This effect lasts as long as the affected Pokémon remains in the dungeon.)

Chestnut Trap

Affected Pokémon loses 10 HP.

Wonder Tile

Resets the affected Pokémon’s stat multipliers and stat stages to normal. This tile is not considered a trap.

Pokémon Trap

Each unclaimed item becomes a foe. (Items stepped on by a Pokémon and items in shops are excluded.) The tile then disappears.

Spiked Tile

Affected Pokémon loses 20 HP.
